A Home Away From Home?
Life in a hostel means a whole panorama of experiences that span of “Home Away From Home”. Mayoor School Hostel have laid a lot of emphasis in creating a warm, welcoming, invigorating and home-like atmosphere in our Separate Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels” where the children develop the confidence to be independent, be it friendships, food, belongings, rooms, joys, sorrows, challenges or any of the uncountable experiences of growing-up together. The hostel is ensconced in a verdant, lush green ambience and the high concrete walls to keep the premises.
The Mayoor School hostel is a modern fully air-conditioned refreshing building, built with the explicit purpose of offering a stimulating and enriching experience where students can learn to ‘learn for life’. The caring and understanding support staff including housekeepers, matrons, laundry and maintenance staff, wardens and of course the principal and teachers guide and pay special attention to the hostel students. The Mayoor School Hostel is situated at easily approachable location. It is only 7 minutes away from airport and 15 minutes away from Railway Station. All the necessary amenities i.e. medical, departmental store, hotels and restaurants, book shops and stationary stores and public library are at quickly accessible distance.

Encouraging studies with special help
The teaching staff, resident staff, and senior students take personal interest in each boarder’s progress, guiding, advising, and encouraging them as required. Evening prep classes are conducted under the supervision of experienced teachers who assist in the completion of homework and problem-solving. Guided study hours for remedial teachings are maintained strictly. Many students have been etching benchmarks in academics and co-curricular activities.
Entrance Coaching
Students are given a customized guidance for competitive and entrance exams for admission to professional courses, be it I.I.T., Engineering, Medical or Technical Colleges. To help them prepare for these exams, evening Medical and Engineering Entrance Coaching Classes are organized in school premises by expert tutors. Students are supplied with the necessary study materials and tips for appearing confidently in the National and State level exams.
World-class Recreational Facilities
- After school hour’s students are encouraged to participate in recreational activities. Every individual student is bestowed a chance to showcase his talent in dramatics, dance, music and various aspects of performing arts.
- The school lays a special emphasis on quality of food to be served to the children. Delicious, well -balanced and nutrition dense food is served in close supervision.
- The school offers Breakfast midday meal, afternoon snacks. Dinner is followed by an elaborate spread of desserts.
- Early morning milk is compulsory for all residential students. Purely vegetarian, the meals start with prayers.
- Filtered R.O water is available at all prime locations of the school. Table manners are observed and etiquette maintained at all times.
- Cuisines vary, what with north Indian, South Indian continental and Chinese adorn the menu cards.
- Our effects are made to ensure that only wholesome and nourishing meals are served in the most hygienic conditions.
Sports
Mayoor School Hostel provides training for almost every sports and game at individual and group level. Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Dance & Music room are also located in a picturesque and majestic location of the campus. Yoga and Aerobics training is also imparted to the hostellers.
Comprehensive Security System
The School and Hostel have close guarded security system manned by security experts with High boundary wall equipped with additional fencing all around.. An ultramodern close TV surveillance system covering the whole campus assists the security personnel provide round-the-clock security for the students. Hostel is also equipped with proper fire fighting equipments.
